The world's most iconic skyline is the inspiration for this deluxe chess set from Skyline Chess. Born out of a love of architecture and chess, designers Ian Flood and Chris Prosser reimagine some of New York's most iconic buildings as chess pieces and bring them to life. The Guggenheim is the Rook, the Flatiron Building plays the Knight, the Chrysler Building is cast as the Bishop, the Empire State Building plays the Queen, and the new Freedom Tower plays the King in the New York set. Each piece is cast in injection moulded acrylic, double weighted, and has a soft felt base. This 32-piece set will delight both chess and design enthusiasts.
