Coppa Camuna

Made by Alessi as a limited series of 999 numbered pieces, the Coppa Camuna is a result of designer Giulio Iacchetti's fascination with the age-old tradition of ironworking in Italy's Valle Camonica. In a collaboration between Iacchetti and the skilled craftsmen of Bienno, the "village of a thousand forges", this piece takes the shape of a helmet turned upside down to become a beautiful vessel. This turned carbon steel bowl is coated with beeswax for a lustrous finish.
