Founded in 2012 with a mission to disrupt the throwaway culture in the umbrella industry, the Original Duckhead Umbrella uses innovative design technology to make umbrellas from sustainable materials. Using post-consumer plastic waste, they have recycled millions of plastic bottles to make the canopies of this stylish accessory, diverting the waste from our oceans. Frames are made of high-strength aluminum and steel to ensure they can stand the test of even the strongest gales of wind and heaviest thunderstorms. Sustainably sourced birchwood is used to make the signature “duck head” handle. This compact umbrella fits into any backpack or tote bag, making it a convenient travel companion.
