Edo Asparagus Steamer


Part of Alessi's Edo line of cookware, the Edo Asparagus Steamer is a stunning piece to cook spring's succulent stalks. Edo refers to the Latin edere - to eat - and is also the ancient name of Tokyo, a place that informs the collection's aesthetics. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, the gleaming stainless steel pot has a slight flare at the top, a tightly fitting concave lid, a satin finish interior, and ribbon-like handles made from precision cast 18/10 steel with a bronze PVD finish. A wire basket fits inside the pot, making it ideal for cooking asparagus, steaming the vegetable to perfection.
