Barknest Basket

The Barknest Basket is a lovely addition to Alessi's popular Bark Collection. Designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, this collection was inspired by the place where they live in sync with nature: Casa Boucquillon in Tuscany. As suggested by its name, the piece brings to mind tree bark and a cozy nest with rounded walls. The complicated metalwork that goes into making this collection demonstrates the skilled workmanship of the artisans in Alessi's Italian factory.
