Grind

Architect William Alsop and designer Federico Grazzini created Grind for Alessi to enhance the pleasure of sharing and enjoying good food. Grind is a salt, pepper, and spice mill that uniquely rests on the table with the grinding mechanism facing upward. This assures that residue won't be left on your table. The body of the mill is made of die-cast aluminum with an nylon interior, and available in both black and silver. Adjusting the grind is easy. Turn the grinding wheel clockwise for a finer grind or counter-clockwise for a coarser result.
