Bark Vase

Designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the Bark Vase, part of the Bark Collection for Alessi, was inspired by the place where they live: Casa Boucquillon in Tuscany.  As suggested by its name, the design brings to mind tree bark. The complicated metalwork that goes into making this vase demonstrates the skilled workmanship of the artisans in Alessi's Italian factory.
