When as an architecture student Tiziana Redavid went to visit a factory in Turin where industrial springs were manufactured, she became intrigued. She discovered that leftover stainless steel springs were quite beautiful on her wrist. The result is a line of jewellery called La Mollla – "spring" in Italian with an extra "l" for stretchiness! The stack of seventy-eight individual springs takes an industrial material and turns them into a surprisingly silky piece of jewellery. Gold toned springs are intermixed with the steel coloured springs for a glamorous look.
